The Overview view is the default view that opens when you click on Marketing in the left-hand navigation menu. To ensure accurate information in the Marketing feature, you must create/add marketing crops and assign the appropriate marketing crop to each of your contracts.
Items Across the Top of the Screen
Projected Revenue
This is the revenue to date based on all grain sales that have been assigned a marketing crop for the selected crop year and have a final cash price set. This number will change as you final price contracts assigned to each of your marketing crops.
Mark to Market Unprotected
This is the value of all unprotected bushels (those unsold or without a final price) for marketing crops in the selected crop year, valued at the current market price (futures price plus/minus the estimated basis used for the marketing crop).
Depending on the time of year and the crop year you’ve selected, the futures price used to calculate the current market price will be either the current futures month price or the harvest futures month price. For example, if you’re viewing the 2023 crop year in February 2024, March 2024 will be the futures month used for your 2023 corn and soybean marketing crops. If you are viewing the 2024 crop year in February 2024, December 2024 will be the futures month used for corn marketing crops and November 2024 will be the futures month for soybean marketing crops.
This number will change as the futures prices move and/or you change the estimated basis for your production.
Estimated Profit
Your estimated profit is calculated as follows:
(Projected Revenue + Mark to Market Unprotected) - Total Cost of Production for All Marketing Crops

This is the weighted average of your contracts’ final cash prices.
Current Market Price

For example, if you’re viewing the 2023 crop year in February 2024, March 2024 will be the futures month displayed for your 2023 corn marketing crop.
